Ed Willkie Middle School embarked on a journey to create a positive shift in campus culture through the daily integration of social emotional learning (SEL) using Renaissance strategies, The Harbor and Restorative Discipline Practices (RDP). Participants will experience empirical and anecdotal evidence supporting the positive impact on campus culture and learn how restorative practices have been used to create a sense of community and change the approach to absenteeism and discipline.

During this session, Robinson Secondary will share a variety of ways to use Renaissance to create more connections throughout a large community. We are a grade 7-12 school with 4,000 students and over 300 staff members, and do it by making Renaissance a part of our everyday life.
