This month’s National Renaissance Student of the Month is Arhaan Adtani from Sartartia Middle School in Sugar Land, TX. Nominator Cholly Oglesby wrote:

Arhaan Adtani is a dedicated and proactive student leader who consistently goes above and beyond to support his peers and school community. He played a key role in organizing the new student breakfast in the fall, coordinating with counselors, arranging food contributions, and planning an engaging bingo activity to help students feel welcomed. Currently, he is a driving force behind the PALS Movie Night fundraiser, meticulously planning concessions and offering creative promotional ideas. In addition to his leadership roles, Arhaan demonstrates daily commitment to our school by respectfully taking up and putting down the school flag. He embodies our core values of Accountability, Integrity, and Respect, making him a deserving recipient of the Jostens Renaissance Student of the Month award.

What are you involved with at your school?

I am involved in PALS.

What is something you appreciate about your school’s culture?

I appreciate that my school is about giving everybody a chance at doing something great every day.

What’s a favorite Renaissance moment for you?

My favorite Renaissance moment was last year’s Jostens Regional Conference were I got to go up on the stage and participate in the fun and challenging games with students from different campuses.

How has Renaissance affected you personally?

Renaissance has affected me personally because I was a really shy person. When I started learning about Renaissance, it affected me for the good, and it helped me become a better person.

What’s something you are “All In” for inside and outside of school?

Something I am ALL In for is sports. Inside of school I love doing sports, and I practice playing basketball every single weekend outside of school without fail.

What advice would you give to someone who is looking to build new habits?

One: set realistic goals. Two: Make the goals achievable. An example would be if I want to lose five pounds, I am going to eat a salad three times a week and exercise 15 minutes a day. Three: Manage them by using a smart goal sheet to keep track of progress.

Arhaan will receive a water bottle and a decal in recognition of his achievement.
