FEATURED KEY NOTESPEAKER:

Dr. Phil Campbell, known to his students as ‘PC,’ is a sixteen-year educator with experience as a teacher, coach, athletic director, and principal. PC implemented Renaissance in his school and saw reduced discipline rates, increased attendance rates, improved graduation rates, and an overall enhancement of school culture. PC has made it his mission to help schools create a positive school culture in which every adult and student feels seen, heard, and valued.

FEATURED BREAKOUT SPEAKER:

It’s been a difficult few years in education, and schools are looking to re-establish themselves in the eyes of their communities.  Administrators are being challenged like never before, and they need an answer.  This session will allow you to fully understand the “identity” process and discover the keys to developing a solid message that can be lived out every day.

John Jenson believes that the world’s most successful schools have one thing in common…clarity. It’s not about creating a mission statement or slogan. For the last 20 years, he has worked with schools and corporations to get real with who they are, identify the meaning in what they do and ensure that they can convey their strengths and values in every situation. Schools with a consistent message build a stronger community. In partnership with Jostens, John assists schools in in creating a unique identity…a climate and culture that people will attach themselves to.

FEATURED BREAKOUT SPEAKER:

Starting an elementary level or fine-tuning an existing Jostens Renaissance program? Learn how to run (not walk) with a young elementary program. You will hear the Dos and Don’ts, ideas to grow your programs, student leadership, along with ways to adjust middle and high school level ideas for the little guys. Come see the Mad Hatter, Dr. Michelle CarneyRay-Yoder, for some elementary fun!

Dr. Michelle CarneyRay-Yoder is the superintendent for Somers Point School District in New Jersey. Before coming to Somers Point, she was the Principal and Director of Special Education for Margate City Schools and prior to that, a middle school vice-principal in Egg Harbor Township; a Learning Disability Teacher Consultant in Galloway Township; and a Special Education Teacher (LD/ ED) in Brigantine and Norfolk, Virginia; along with a paraprofessional in Norfolk, Virginia. In addition to her educational experience, Dr. CarneyRay-Yoder also serves as an adjunct professor at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey (Master’s level teacher education/ administration), along with previous basketball coaching experience at the middle, high school, and Division III levels.

WHAT IS JOSTENS RENAISSANCE EDUCATION?

Jostens Renaissance is a framework for building a culture and climate where teachers love their job and students thrive in school.

Jostens Renaissance is, by design, a contrast to the prescriptive educational programs that we’ve all seen come in and out of vogue. And perhaps best of all, it is provided at no additional cost to Jostens customers!

Schools have been using the Jostens Renaissance framework and resources for more than 30 years for:

  • Educator Morale & Retention
  • Academic Achievement
  • Character Development
