Instructions for Food Truck Rodeo:

  1. Find a time in the school schedule that works for the event and get necessary approvals.
  2. Connect with your favorite local food trucks and invite them to your campus.
  3. Scout your campus for the best location for the rodeo, like a bus lane or a parking lot, then make a map of food truck stations and send to the vendors so each knows where to park.
  4. Coordinate with custodians to have trash/recycling bins available.
  5. Make reminders for students and Staffulty to bring money.
  6. Have a point person to help the food trucks find their spot.
  7. Set the tone by creating a playlist and playing tunes.
  8. Clean up after school or when the trucks are gone.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES:

  • Reward your Staffulty with a Food Truck Rodeo – not just students!
  • Make it an even larger event and invite other student organizations to sell candy, drinks, or merchandise!
