This month’s National Renaissance Student of the Month is Ismael Kone from Harrison High School in New Jersey. Nominator Nick Landy writes:
Ismael is a stand out athlete who is our varsity goal keeper for the Boys Soccer Team. Has his own YouTube channel, and on the first day of school, unknowing about the importance of Staffulty/ student relationships as a focal point for Jostens Renaissance, he created a video where he spoke about how important it is to get to know his teachers. He was also nominated by Staffulty to run for Homecoming King and his peers voted him as the 2023 Homecoming King.
