Activity Goal: Encouraging Graduation – C2G®
Prep Time: 1 hour for scheduling and coordination
People Required: One organizing Staffulty member, and everyone on campus
Space Requirements: Hallways
Timing: Spring (when graduation caps and gowns are delivered)
Materials: Cap and gown regalia, and (optional) paper and markers to make signs

INSTRUCTIONS FOR A SENIOR WALK:
- Schedule a time during the day when seniors have their graduation caps and gowns while other classes are still on campus.
- On the day of the Senior Walk, set a time for all adults and younger students to line the halls.
- Have seniors wear their caps and gowns and walk through the halls in an organized way, so they reach all the classrooms and spaces. Encourage loud congratulations!
- Make this a tradition that younger students remember and seniors look forward to.
- End with an assembly or treat when the seniors finish their walk.
ADDITIONAL IDEAS & OPPORTUNITIES:
- Make a video of the Senior Walk and post it on social media so your wider community can see, too!
- Have younger students make posters and signs to cheer on the seniors.
- Do this with any class that is having a graduation event – kindergarten graduation, elementary graduation, or 8th grade graduation!
