Help your seniors feel royal by hosting a Senior Crown making party and encourage them to wear their creations on the first day of school and other important events.

School Type: High school

Activity Goal: Recognize seniors and Encourage Graduation – C2G®

Prep Time: Two weeks for ordering supplies; less than one hour on the day of the event

People Required: Two Staffulty member and senior class leadership representatives (Class president, etc)

Space Required: Gym or other large common space with tables

Timing: Back to School season

Materials: Paper crowns, markers, stickers, and (optional) snacks and paper plates

Cost: $100-$500 (Depending on the number of students and if you provide food/snacks)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Reserve space and order supplies.
2. Communicate to seniors the day and time your senior crown making party will be.
3. Set up space with tables and chairs and crafting supplies on each table for students to use.
   • Play music on a speaker to help the creative juices flow!
4. Have fun with your incoming senior class!

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND IDEAS:

• Schedule this around lunch time and have a simple spread of hotdogs and chips – students love coming to events with food!
• Have a few pre-made crowns for students to purchase for as little as $2 if they are unable to attend this event, but still want to participate throughout the year.
• Have them wear the crowns to existing events like Senior Step Up or Senior Sunrise.
• Pair them with their Senior Jeans.
