Distinguished Young Women is a national scholarship program that inspires high school girls to develop their full, individual potential through a fun, transformative experience that culminates in a celebratory showcase of their accomplishments. We strive to give young women the opportunity to further their education and prepare for a successful future.

Each Distinguished Young Women program offers essential Life Skills through workshops focusing on topics such as interviewing, public speaking, self-confidence building, community involvement, and more! The program takes place in all 50 states and Washington DC. Each program evaluates participants in the following categories: Scholastics(25%), Interview (25%), Talent (20%), Fitness (15%), and Self Expression (15%). All state winners participate in the National Finals which is held in Mobile, Alabama the June after you graduate from high school.
