Sometimes even simple culture building activities like collecting and delivering appreciation notes is a BIG job on large campuses. Follow these tips for using Google Add On features to simplify the project.
School Type: Middle school, high school (6-12)
Activity Goal: Build relationships, teach gratitude and cut down organization time
Prep Time: 30 – 60 minutes
People Required: One Staffulty member or small group of student leaders
Timing: One hour per week
Materials: Computer/laptop, Google Forms, Google Slides, AutoCrat Google Add On, Cardstock, Printer and (optional) rewards

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Make Google Form that populates a Google Sheet. Here are two example forms:
- Make a QR Code for the form. Use a free QR Code generator with school logo here.
- Post QR Code and directions around campus where students can access it. Ideas include:
- Bulletin boards
- Screens
- Digital displays

- Encourage students to deliver the note to the person they wrote it to.
- Make Notecard Template in Google Slides. See example templates: bit.ly/EKNoteFormats
- Set Up AutoCrat Google Add On. Learn how to use AutoCrat from this document or by watching a video here.
- At the end of the week, run autocrat to automatically make notecards.
- Print two slides per page in color on cardstock. Use papercutter to seperate the two notes per page.
- Organize and deliver.
- If providing rewards to students who participate, analyze and deliver rewards to students who qualify.
