Charge students money for the opportunity to put a temporary tattoo on a teacher. This fundraiser is also a great relationship builder!

School Type: Elementary school, Middle School, High School (1-12)

Activity Goal: Fundraise

Prep Time: Two weeks

People Required: Staffulty, a designated person to collect payment and guard the tattoos.

Space Required: one table in an accessible space like a lunch room, commons or school office.

Materials: Temporary tattoos of various sizes and designs, change and a cash box

Timing: Anytime

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Choose a day or time period for this fundraiser and a spot to sell the tattoos.
2. Get teacher buy in! This literally can’t happen without them.
   • If teachers are hesitant, create rules around where and when tattoos can be given to a teacher.
3. Decide on pricing. Remember to have it low enough so a wide variety of kids can participate but high enough to make it a successful fundraiser.
   • Consider a pricing structure. Here is an example:
     • Small tattoos = $1
     • Medium tattoos = $2
     • Large tattoos = $5
     • Tattoo packs with all three sizes (or other combination) = $6
4. Order tattoos. You can buy generic tattoos or design your own!
5. Advertise! You want to be sure that students know about this so they come to school prepared with cash.
6. Set up your table with a cash box and change along with the tattoo options and have fun!

ADDITIONAL IDEAS & OPPORTUNITIES:

• Instead of only teachers, include your Staffulty! You could even charge extra for tattooing the principal or other administrators to make this an even more successful fundraiser.
• To help with getting more teachers to buy-in, give a prize or a gift card to the teacher who ends up with the most tattoos. They deserve it for being a good sport!
