National Renaissance Student of The Month: Eshal Momin

This month’s National Renaissance Student of the Month is Eshal Momin from Sartartia Middle School in Texas. Nominator Cholly Oglesby wrote:

Eshal Momin is an exemplary student who goes out of her way to help and inspire students. Eshal aids numerous students all while having a smile across her face. Her contagious energy makes Sartartia and the whole Fort Bend community proud. She inspires us by setting up a example of a good communicator and displays grit and determination across all aspects of her life.

What are you involved with at your school?

At my school I am involved with NJHS which is a club where I show my role of responsibility, leadership, and accountability. I have given services for this club in school and in my community involving packing food for people in need, making cards for those in the hospital, tutoring students for the science STAAR, and helping with a cross country meet.

What is something you appreciate about your school’s culture? 

I appreciate how my school values every students’ voice in any situation. My school provides support and encourages everyone for their passions. The traditions that are set place in this school make me feel really blissful.

What is something that helps you feel Better Than Good?

Things that make me feel Better Than Good are working on my growth, communicating with others such as friends and family and have a quick conversation with them, and by showing kindness to others through actions such as a simple smile.

What is something you do to help others feel Better Than Good?

Things I do to help others feel Better Than Good are by spreading positivity around through simple gestures, and making people feel heard and understood

Who inspires you?

For me, my sister inspires me. I have always looked up to her ever since I was little. She has made many achievements year by year making me feel as if I can achieve my goals, too. She always encourages me in my passions and brings positivity to others around her.
