This month’s National Renaissance Student of the Month is Liliana Dohle from Brazoswood High School in Texas. Nominator Zoe White wrote:
Lili has earned the right to be recognized as the Student of the Month due to the image of joy she displays and the positivity that she spreads not only on campus, but off campus as well! She brings so much positive energy to everyone around her, whether she’s walking through campus, helping a friend, or just cracking a joke to brighten someone’s day. Her kindness and upbeat attitude make her such a joy to be around, and it’s easy to see how much she cares about others.
What are you involved with at your school?
Varsity Softball, Varsity Volleyball manager, Brazoswood Clinicals, GROW Club, Brighten Bwood, Environmental Science Club, National Honors Society, Science National Honors Society, Disciples at Bwood
What is something you appreciate about your school’s culture?
I love our spirit days and the positivity that they spread. I also appreciate the CTE programs that help students thrive and prepare for the future.
What is something that helps you feel Better Than Good?
I feel Better Than Good when my hard work in academics pays off with good grades and new knowledge.
What is something you do to help others feel Better Than Good?
Something I do to make others feel Better Than Good is I spread positivity by talking to new people and making everyone feel the love.
What advice would you give to someone who is looking to make decisions that are more consistent with their values?
Always be unapologetically yourself. You are a unique individual, and your decisions should reflect your values and authenticity and should not be dictated by outside pressures.
