INSTRUCTIONS FOR Creating and maintaining a Senior Checklist:

  1. With your soon-to-be seniors, list all the exciting events, activities and milestones that will happen throughout the school year. Here are some examples:
  2. Using either markers or a graphic design app like Canva, make visually interesting designs for the title of each thing on the checklist.
  3. Place them in chronological order on a long strip of paper — we recommend 2 ft x 8 ft — and place a box next to each title.
  4. With approval, hang in a high traffic area or near a hub for seniors (lockers, homeroom, etc.).
  5. Throughout the school year, have a student leader check the box next to the completed activity or milestone.

ADDITIONAL IDEAS & OPPORTUNITIES:

  • Take a video of a senior student leader checking the box and post it on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Display the completed checklist at graduation or Senior Sunset
